You would have too bestbuy doesn't allow people to buy the phones outright and you should be able to pay your activation fee and etc with a credit card.

I believe so as long as they are paid in full on your Best Buy card...you can then have Verizon activate it. You can do it on the My Verizon app under DEVICES and then scroll to where it says ACTIVATE NEW DEVICE (or ADD NEW DEVICE), follow the steps and you should be good to go. Make sure all ur info on ur old phone is currently backed up from iCloud before and then follow the steps to transfer it to the new phone through your iCloud acts.

I was advised by Verizon today 12/19/2017 the BOGO is only for new customers. I am out of contract so why they do not include existing customers is unfortunate. I would consider leaving Verizon if another carrier offered the same deal.
