• You should be able to at least do the pay as you go at the AT&T store even with this phone...my boyfriend did with the iPhone 7plus

• The payments are thru ATT, so probably no. But you could use the Best Buy car d and purchase it outright. The card sometimes runs no interest for 12 months for big purchases.
