• You can do it yourself. I ordered the phone via mail, it came to my house with the SIM card. I used my old sim and put it in the new phone and activated it. Then I did the phone transfer the Apple has built I. Where you just place the phones next to each other and it transfer the entire phone wirelessly

• You get a new Sim card from Best Buy and you can use an iCloud back up or even just hold your current iPhone next to your new one and it will transfer all your information.
