you can get a virus but it is better than a pc, I don't have antivirus on my mac and I have had it for 5 years don't download free music or free movies or other high-risk websites and you will be ok. I'm a computer technician and all I use is mac for the past 7 years and wont go back to use pc's
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using macs since 1995 and never had a virus or any of the issues my wife has had with her HP desktop and Dell laptop. I wouldn’t use a Windows based PC if someone paid me to use one. P.S. (Granted it’s a Power Mac tower.) But I have been using my Mac system for 10 years. My wife is going on her third computer in that time.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's highly unlikely that you would get a virus, but you should use an anti-virus too. I buy Norton and have never had a virus yet. I love Apple products!
