• Yes, it comes with the necessary charging cable. However, it uses one of the USB-C ports so if you have need to use it for other items you may need some type of adapter for it. I purchased a j5create - 2-Port USB 3.0 Hub with HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet USB Type-C Adapter to go with mine, which will give us the necessary additional USB ports, network adapter, HDMI out as well as supplies power to the laptop.

• It comes with a USB C (Thunderbolt 3) charger. There are no standard USB ports, so the thought is that you might want to purchase an adapter that allows you to connect standard USB and the USB C charger at the same time. It's a good idea if you plan to attach anything to your Mac.
