A:AnswerNot really but Apple memory upgrades are costly. My advice, take the 256 gig add and buy a 1tb Samsung external SSD from Amazon for like 100 bucks. Only keep essential files on the Mac, pictures and movies on the SSD.
A:AnswerI would say that if you have an iPhone and you are looking at “getting deeper into the ecosystem” this is definitely a good computer to get into the ecosystem. As for photos you may get better picture quality viewing them on the MacBook Pro if it’s something that you do a lot and depend on seeing the true colors. The MacBook supports the P3 wide color gamut but doesn’t support true HDR content. The MacBook Pro uses the same display on its Pro Display XDR which is a mini-LED display with high brightness great contrast and wide color. Up to you if it’s something to get by or if it’s something you use for a job to make money.
A:AnswerIt comes with a braided MagSafe cable along with Apple's 30W USB-C charger which does have a removable plug on the brick if you needed to added a long extension, you can do that. The prongs also fold down. Not sure what you mean by a "normal charger brick" as they've not really changed them in years other than the cable being removable from the brick where before the brick had fold out cord minders on either side that you would wrap the cord around, but since you can detach the cord, that's really not needed anymore.
A:AnswerI have had mine for over a month and run it for large bursts of time and have not experienced any overheating! I got the starlight color and purchased hardshell cover and keyboard protector off Amazon in similar color. I love it!
A:AnswerNo, the MacBook Air doesn’t come with separate antivirus software preinstalled — but it doesn’t really need one. macOS includes built-in security features like Gatekeeper, XProtect, and System Integrity Protection, which automatically help protect against viruses and malware.
If you prefer extra protection, you can always install a trusted third-party antivirus program, but for most users, the Mac’s built-in security is more than enough.
A:AnswerThe MacBook Air M4 works with all macOS-compatible software. That includes apps like Safari, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, GarageBand, iMovie, and all software from the App Store. It also runs popular programs like Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Chrome, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
