A:AnswerDepends on what she's doing. I'd say if she's going for something that is going to use a lot of power like video editing or photoshop, maybe go with a higher tiered one. If she'll mainly be using it for office stuff like word and excel, then it'll be more than enough. And if that's all she'd be using it for, I'd go Windows or Google, they are half the price. AppleCare, from what I remember it's like $200 something and it lasts for 2-3 years I think, sorry I don't quite remember but that's the gist of it. Would be worth it for someone who has never owned a laptop or doesn't have a "guy" to bring it to for cheaper. If anything "goes wrong" inside the laptop, they'll fix it or replace it, but if it's physical damage then you're SOL. But at the same time, if the computer is only 2-3 years old, it shouldn't be malfunctioning all that much.
