- Answer As long as you have the adapter, I don't see why not. These MacBooks do not have any USB ports so make sure about that.

- Answer No, you have to get an external CD drive if you want to use CDs with it. If you already have an older Mac with a CD drive, it can access that over your home network, assuming it isn't more than 10 years old or so and has a recent macOS release installed on it.
