“What would be the benefit of getting this keyboard if the one that you have on sale works for the fourth generation also? Is there something better about this keyboard”

No difference according to all of the reviews I have seen.Save yourself about 100 bucks.

The other two answers are incorrect. The $199 keyboard case does not have a track pad. The $349 version does. If you don’t care about using a trackpad, it won’t matter but it’s definitely a distinct difference.
