Its ba a really neat charger, It has a magnet on the unit so when the charger end gets close, it just draws it with up and connects it for you. I really love mine, it might take a little getting used to it but if you have any trouble you can always call Apple support and they will walk you through any problem you might have. I used them and found them very good and patient with me..
