- Answer This iPad Air is the latest model available as of March 29, 2020. I wish I could tell you how long the model has been made available or when a newer model is expected, but unfortunately I'm not "up" on all the latest technology trends. I will tell you that this model is truly impressive with the screen resolution/appearance as a whole.
