“When holding iPad to read are the keyboard buttons easily tapped by mistake? I like this case but don’t want to be holding iPad with keyboard buttons indented as I hold it interfering with iPad function.”

No, when you fold the keyboard back behind the iPad all the keys are Inoperative by default. (They don’t work))

You can fold the key board to the back side of the screen and use the IPAD as you have in the past.

If the iPad is not in “laptop” mode (so the keyboard is folded behind the iPad) it will not register any keystrokes. I have never had an issue with accidentally tapping keys while in laptop mode.

No it doesn’t get in the way. The keyboard folds up into itself when not in use so you cannot accidentally type on it.
