I am using an iMac The app warns you in a dialog box before the copying begins, that you might be violating copyright laws, but then you are allowed to click beyond that. I think that is the subtle disclaimer for the app. You are technically copyright violating if you are copy material someone else's materials they own, but as long as you are not putting it "out there" for others or selling what you copy, you will probably remain behind the curtain as the Wizard of Oz said.
