QuestionWhen I plug it into my Mac pro adaptor it says no power. Plug into Mac usb port. My only usb is in the lightning adaptor.

- Answer I used a usb c to usb adapter and plugged it into my computer. The photo is from Wal-Mart, I got mine from Amazon. I would think Best Buy would have them but I couldn't find one on tgeir website.

- Answer You can pick up an adapter at Walmart for 20 bucks for it. Make sure the adapter is an Apple adapter.

- Answer This is a CD/DVD drive only and does not play Blu-ray or 4K. This drive has a built in USB-A cable. If your Mac only has USB-C / Thunderbolt ports, then you will need a USB-C adapter.

- Answer I copy movie DVDs using the software Handbrake. I am using an iMac The app warns you in a dialog box before the copying begins, that you might be violating copyright laws, but then you are allowed to click beyond that. I think that is the subtle disclaimer for the app. You are technically copyright violating if you are copy material someone else's materials they own, but as long as you are not putting it "out there" for others or selling what you copy, you will probably remain behind the curtain as the Wizard of Oz said.
