• No, you just need a 4K TV in order to use this model to its full potential. The Apple TV is in essence a smart hub, that is pre-loaded with different apps and that is connected to your Apple account. All you have to do is plug it in, and enjoy!

• No. Any "dumb" TV or monitor with HDMI works. Ideally the TV supports HDMI CEC, which allows the Apple TV to turn it off and on via HDMI. Other than that, the Apple TV basically renders any "smart" features of the TV redundant.

• No get Roku stick $25 tv must have hdmi input go to Best Buy and they will help you. Apple TV is too much $$$ for same end result
