I have mine connected to my Visio atmos sound bar then to the tv through the hdmi arc port. Did a little research and this is supposed to be the way to do it. Check audio setting on Apple TV after and atoms should be available

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not sure on the Atmos, I believe that depends on your soundbar. How I connected my system was I connected my AppleTV via HDMI to my TV and then connected the soundbar via digital optical to the TV. That way anything that comes though the TV will be in the soundbar not just the AppleTV. I believe that should allow for Atmos if the soundbar supports it.
