The AppleTV is for watching stuff on a tv or monitor, it wouldn’t be for watching things on your MacBook, though you can end stuff from the MacBook or windows to the AppleTV. You may be able to watch stuff from spectrum on your MacBook through a web browser (or not), and spectrum may have an “app” for AppleTV to watch stuff on your tv (or not). Comcast doesn’t, though that may be because they’re trying to push their own “flex” box that I don’t want.
