• A:Answer This is way better than the Firestick in my opinion. You can link up Apple speakers and Sonos speakers (I have one of each synced to my AppleTV 4K), and cast anything from your phone to the tv. You can buy a mount to stick it to the back of your tv also if you have your tv mounted on the wall like we do.

• A:Answer Yes. Apple TV + is Apple's streaming service. Just like Hulu and Netflix stream shows. Apple TV + however has shows exclusive to Apple only and can't be watched on other platforms. If you use iTunes Movies or iTunes TV shows on the Apple TV device....you will have to have an Apple ID and payment account to rent or purchase those movies or TV shows that are NOT on the Apple TV + streaming service.

• A:Answer An Xbox makes for a better game system, but it does have games available. Apple Arcade is at most $5/month and pretty good (though not as good as the Xbox equivalent). You can use Xbox One/Series X controllers with it m It wouldn’t be my first choice as a game device, but it’s not worthless for games either. Get the updated model that’s about to come out though (the cpu/GPU is two years newer so should be supported longer)

• A:Answer Yeah, if you’re buying an AppleTV box your tv doesn’t need to be “smart”, it just needs an hdmi port. “Smart” features in TVs are really just gimmicks to pad bullet point lists anyway. Works better to pick a tv that works well as a tv, and add a good streaming device like AppleTV to it.
