• It doesn’t need to ‘hold’ them. The movies play from the cloud.

• Depends upon the quality of the movie and other apps you have downloaded. Advantage of Apple TV is many of the movies are stored in the cloud and you download to watch and them delete the download. I would estimate 5-6 movies for the 32gb and 10-12 movies for the 64 gb. You lose about 2-3 gb for the Apple software.
