Yes. AppleTV is a service like any of the others accessible though AppleTV. Once your free year expires you will still have access to all of those channels/services offered. You would need a subscription to any of those to watch them, etc. Hope this helps.

It’s the same concept as your phone with different apps. You can have for example an HBO app with subscription and YouTube app or whatever. If you decide to cancel HBO. Everything else still works
