The AppleTV is only to the tv it is hooked up to. However, if you want to move it to another tv you just simply unplug the device with HDMI cable and connect it to another tv, without worrying about setting up the device again. All of the setup is done one time only so it is saved, so you will be able to disconnect and plug to a different tv with no problem.
