• Yes an no, it will not be a subsitute, all apple tv can do is pull your itunes library onto it while itunes homesharing is open.

• That function is not available. It is a device to stream media content, not mirror the display of your computer. You'll need an HP Wireless HDMI set-up to do that. ~$150
