Yes it does automatically. On the underside in the uberfine print it says it will work on 100 - 240VAC, 50/60Hz. So it works on 50 or 60 Hertz electrical systems anywhere between 100 volts up to 240 volts! Nice built-in convenience! But it is up to you to adapt your prong arrangement to fit the outlet at your destination country.
