I have experienced this as well. Your Apple TV allows you to begin watching a movie with only a few percent downloaded. If your internet connection is lagging, you are actually watching the movie faster than you can receive it from the server. There are several help tips for this on the Apple support website which include a reset of the Apple TV system. If I am having a slow server response from the internet on my laptop, I know watching Apple TV may be frustrating with the stop/wait/catch-up that occurs. Other than looking for a more consistent internet provider, I don't believe there is a permanent fix for this issue.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ouch! Sounds like you may not have a stable broadband connection or it may not have adequate throughput. I believe at least 6MBPs is necessary for streaming in a household as long as no other "bandwidth hogs" (other heavy internet users) are online at the time. The stability is necessary in order to have consistent throughput (no interruptions or pauses). You can test for this using www.speedtest.net on your computer (that is connected to the network) to check the quality of your broadband connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it could be verizon connection, I have comcast, also look where your apple TV is placed is it close to the router? also are there any other devices that could interfere with the connection. That will be your troubleshooting you would need to do. Mine paused a couple times with Comcast, understand that APPle TV this model has no on board memory but can do updates from Apple, so improve it will. be patient.
