• I bought this for this very reason and I can confirm that my new iPad PRO works perfectly with this adapter to output to an HDMI (with sound) to a TV/Projector. I tried to buy a cheaper 3rd party adapter but it wouldn’t play HDCP content, whereas the Apple one worked perfectly...
