• A:Answer It should work. I have an even older setup that works on my M4 Mac mini with this adapter. I connect my older PS/2 keyboard to a Belkin PS/2 to USB adapter, which I then connect to this Apple USB-C to USB adapter and macOS recognized right away that a new keyboard was connected and prompted with the usual instructions to identiy the keyboard type.
