  • QuestionCan this adaptor be used in Europe, specifically Italy?

    Asked by Dolores.

    • Answer Yes, it will work in Europe and Italy, but you will need a plug adapter for it to fit into the Italian electrical sockets. If you’re traveling to other European countries you’ll need to have the appropriate socket adapters for those countries. German plugs are slightly different than Italian, British plugs are very different.

  • QuestionDo you have to use this adapter to charge Apple products?

    Asked by Mrtea.

    • Answer No. A portable power bank can also be used to charge/recharge your iPhone. They vary in the amount of power provided and in charging speeds. Some are only for use with smartphones and others are powerful enough to charge tablets as well. Prices vary accordingly. Their main value lies in the ability to keep your phone powered in the absence of an electrical outlet. Be certain to select one certified for use with Apple products.

    Asked by Mexico1390.

    • Answer I have the iPhone 8 Plus but it uses the same type of power cord and power adapter as other models, including the iPhone 8. Differences among iPhones are in the INTERNAL features! You should have no problems with an Apple certified connecting/charging plug recommended for contemporary Apple smartphones.

  • QuestionWill it work with an iPhone XR?

    Asked by Oscar.

    • Answer To the best of my knowledge, the differences among various models of iPhones are limited to INTERNAL operating features (functions) and they use the same basic power cords and adapters as they have the same basic internal power source (battery) and are powered via the same type(s) of electrical outlets, which are EXTERNAL functions. Moreover, reputable companies specify (list) which devices are compatible with the various accessories they sell, making it easy to ascertain which ones are appropriate choices for your device(s). CAVEAT: do not purchase any item if this vital information should be missing!

  • QuestionDoes the adapter matter when charging an iPad?

    Asked by Bwo324.

    • Answer The Apple brand 5W USB Power Adapter I purchased is appropriate for use (along with any Apple USB cable) to charge any Apple Watch, iPhone or iPad. So, yes, this model will charge your iPad. Apple recommends using only Apple brand products or Apple certified products. I agree with the recommendations because I’ve heard some reports of damage and/or malfunction(s) when other accessories have been used with Apple products, as they may not be entirely compatible.and/or they might be of an inferior quality that fails during the course of usage.

  • QuestionDo you have a adapter to transfer photos from my iPad mini to a memory stick

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer The item I purchased is a simple wall adapter that connects the phone’s power source (battery) to a standard US electrical outlet. It has no other function(s). What you need is a recent model flash device that has the versatility to upload, download and transfer photos between a variety of devices. They can also serve as photo storage devices. They do this by virtue of offering two or more different types ports on a single flash device. As the appropriate ports are built in, no special adapter is necessary for photo transfer operations. I intend to buy one for myself in the very near future!
