Can you add or get cellular service for this watch? null

There are two models for the series 3 watches: GPS and GPS+Cellular. Only the Cellular models can have cellular service. The cellular models have the red crown(side button). You will have to pay monthly for the cellular service and the battery drains significantly faster than the GPS models. Keep in mind the GPS models can still take calls and send texts if you are carrying your phone with you because the watch will use the cellular data from your phone, so long as you have both the phone and watch on you.

No you have to have an iPhone with activated service to use the phone features on the watch
