Do you have to use the cellular option null

I don’t believe it’s required. You can still pair with your iPhone, but you can also get the option without cellular for a little less. (The red dot on the knob means it’s a phone one.) This option has cellular and 16 gb memory. I think it’s the top of line for Apple Watch right now. I’m still waiting for my delivery..

No you don't have to use the cellular option. You can chose to buy the apple watch without cellular and just GPS. I did personally buy the apple watch with GPS + cellular but until I activated it with Verizon I didn't have to use it.

Yes, you can use it without the cellular option. I have a legacy AT&T plan and they would not let me add the watch without changing plans, which I did not want to do. But I am still using the watch paired with my phone.

No, you can buy the watch with or with out cellular. I bought the cellular Apple Watch and I have yet to use it, I just skipped the step where it asked me to set it up with my carrier. Hope this helps
