“Is there a lot of difference between the I Watch series 2 and 3? I am thinking about maybe getting one and if I can save a little money getting the series 2 that would be great. Thanks”

The main difference is the series 3 has a “faster” processor, however the series 1 isn’t that much slower than the series 3, so the difference in speed between the series 2 and series 3 is really negligible. Save the money and get the series 2! Unless you need the cellular feature of the series 3, but assuming your phone is always with you, you don’t need it.

Although the 3 comes with GPS, also the ability for you to talk on it in the absence of your phone. BUT all this comes at a cost and will have to add another data plan with your cell carrier. Or you can just wear it as a watch etc. I went with the 2.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the series 2 and returned it. It was about 70$ more for this model. It depends on your needs though. The series 2 still has MOST of the features that the series 3 has, but the series 3 is MUCH smoother with the new WatchOS 4 on it. I also liked the fact that the series 3 tracks the flights of stairs I climb in a day. Series 2 did not have a sensor for this and did not count that at all.
