“Is there a way to download spotify or other apps on the watch, or that left only to the iphone?”

• Apps installed on your phone will install on the watch during initial set up, but you can't directly install apps to the watch itself. Anything you want on the watch needs to be on your phone.

• Apps are not loaded directly on the watch. Instead, apps designed to work on the watch must be installed on your iPhone. Any apps already on your iPhone that are compatible with Apple Watch will automatically install on the watch during initial setup. Apps on the watch are controlled and configured through the Watch app that is incorporated in the phone's iOS software. If you don't have the Watch app on your phone, you can download and install it from the App Store.
