Yes there is a difference between GPS watch vs Cellular watch. Cellular gives you feasibility to receive calls on the watch. GPS Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) lets you send and receive text messages, answer phone calls, and receive notifications when it’s connected to your iPhone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The built-in GPS works independently of your iPhone for distance, pace, and route mapping in workouts. GPS + Cellular Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) has all the same features, as well as built-in cellular. It gives you the freedom to send and receive text messages, answer phone calls, receive notifications, and stream Apple Music and Apple Podcasts — even when you don’t have your iPhone with you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about the glass but it is scratch resistant and the only thing you cannot do if you do not add it to your cellular plan is leave your phone at home and just use the watch

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure about the glass. But with GPS/cellular you can leave your phone at home and still receive and make calls and text messages.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The best glass is on the stainless steel watch not the aluminum. the glass on the aluminum can be scratched. Ive had both and never scratched the glass on the stainless in all the time I had one. Switched to aluminum and it was scratched in 2 days. GPS and Cellular have nothing to do with the quality. It’s stainless or aluminum.
