Hi xmasgift, The 1st thing you need to consider it is weather you need a companion for your phone or need watch which operates as a stand alone. If you carry your phone around on you, then there is very little need of cellular data. But if you want to leave your phone at home and need your watch to operate a a stand alone device, receive call and play music on it own then definitely go with the cellular version. Moreover, I would like to point out the second thing is, you need to get a data from a carrier (with monthly cost from $10-$20) and the cellular apple watch is more expensive than the regular GPS version. Make the decision based of your needs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you will go places without your phone such as out for a run or a workout then cellular may be for you. Other than that the GPs is all you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. With cellular you can forget your phone at home but say you have your Airpods (or any Bluetooth headphones) you can listen to music. You can also send texts and call people without having your phone or being connected. However rates do apply like a phone would. It’s eventually your choice if you want this extra feature. My opinion is to just get the GPS. Who even forgets their phones nowadays am I right?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I always have my phone on me. So I think the cellular is just a waste of $$
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would only need cellular if you leave your phone and still want to send texts or calls. Keep in mind your number will be different.
