It is water resistant up to 50 meters so swimming, snorkeling, surfing, bathing will not harm it, although I recommend rinsing it will clean water after going in the ocean with it, salt water does eat away as at the water resistance over time in the speak ports.

This model is water-resistant up to 164'. This model is not unbreakable.

Waterproof, yes. Unbreakable? No.
