• That’s odd because after I posted the question I contacted Apple and they verified the model on sale at Best Buy and all series 5 stainless steel watches have sapphire faces standard.

• Yes, the front glass on all stainless steel cases is sapphire crystal. I have this same watch and it’s sapphire crystal front. Best Buy’s specs on this watch is wrong. Apple’s official spec sheet on the website says sapphire as well.

• No sapphire glass on this watch as I would of thought it would considering the price. This watch (stainless steel) comes as described with the Ion-X strengthened glass.
