“Will this watch work with the Dexcom G7 without a phone around or does phone still have to be close by? Do you think the blood oxygen monitor will be updated and put back on this watch? I need both of these options to work so I can be safe away from home.”

This is only the Bluetooth option so the phone has to be close for the Dexcom to read, so if you leave you’re phone in the car for example you’re Dexcom won’t pick up on the watch. The gps/cellular one would.
