Yes, you can watch at any time. It also has motion recording and alerts you when motion is detected. It works great on the iPhone. I also like the ability to start and stop recording at any time. We use it to check on the kids while we are out.

Yes at any time you can see a live feed from any Arlo camera but now it won;t record a live feed, just after motion (heat) is detected.
