I don't think so. It wants to record to the cloud. If you put a thumb drive (USB memory stick) into the back of the base for the Arlo Pro it will record to both the cloud and to the USB device. This works great in case your internet goes down. It will record to the USB device. An idea would be to disconnect the Arlo Pro from the internet and see if it will work fine (record to the USB device). I haven't tried this but it should work. You won't be able to get alerts or monitor anything remotely but you will have the recordings.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It would be nice and have asked Netgear if they would allow it. Only close method to local video storage is their new Arlo Q Plus product that has a built-in SDCard.
