“I have a basic plan covering five cameras. If I buy Arlo Q or Arlo Q plus, I then will have six cameras. Will my basic plan covers Arlo Q or Arlo Q plus camera? I don't want to spend more money for another plan.”

To keep it free, you have to set up a second account for the new cameras (anything over 5) and then set up sharing over to your other account that has the 5 cameras on it. Its not too big of a deal. This allows you to view all the cameras from one account. The biggest draw back is you cant put the shared cameras into your "Modes" . They will be in separate mode groups. So if you have a night mode or day mode or "Armed" or what ever... you will have to set two. One mode for the first 5 and then a separate mode for the additional group.
