Yes it is what I did, and you can use in two diferente apps or mix in the same app
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Arlo Q is indoor only and requires a power outlet. Arlo is totally wire free and is outdoor/indoor. You can use the one Arlo app to manage both cameras and will have to make 2 separate "Modes" for each. The only drawback I see if a "Mode" (rule) cannot share with another "Mode" if they are using the same time-slot. For instance, you cannot have "Front Door" Camera rule and "Living Room Camera" rule use the same timeslots. Now you can have 1 rule that can detect and record motion from midnight to say 6:00 am, and put both cameras in that rule. Then make another rule where you want the "Front door" camera ONLY to record from 6:01 AM until 11:59PM. This way you have one camera that is monitoring all the time and the indoor camera only at night. You can also set a GeoFence rule to enable ALL cameras when you are 50 feet away from the house and go to Disarmed mode when you come back. Lots of different options but kinda tricky on getting the Modes and Rules just right to do what you want and how you want to be alerted.
