• A:Answer 50-100 feet easy. The further it is, the more battery it consumes to try to connect to the base station on a daily basis. Most of the cameras I have is around 50 feet and battery lasts around 2 months

• A:Answer No you cannot. It's a camera, not a walkie talkie. You an see her, and then call her on a cell phone would be much easier since even if this is possible, she cannot see you and a voice out of the blue is kinda scary don't you think? Arlo Wire Free cameras cannot record audio unfortunately.

• A:Answer Not rechargeable. Yes it is compatible. There is also no AC plug, only batteries. There are some rechargeable batteries, but they are around $10 each for the recommended Tenergy brand.

• A:Answer Taken from the Arlo Support Website: "You can stream simultaneously from a maximum of five Arlo cameras that are connected to a single base station. To start streaming a sixth camera, you must pause one of the active streams. If you have an Elite plan with multiple base stations, you can stream five cameras from each base station simultaneously, up to a theoretical maximum of 15. You might not be able to stream from all five cameras per base station if your WiFi network has limited bandwidth or if you are uploading other files while Arlo is streaming."

Q: QuestionI am not very techno savvy, do these work with DSL internet wifi? How far can the cameras be from the base and still work? If used for outdoors, the description indicates in temps as low as 14degrees, what happens if temps go below this?

• A:Answer It will work with DSL but you’ll need a wireless router or wireless modem. They are rated to -4 degrees. The batteries won’t last as long and the unit could stop working below that temp. I think 300 feet, but the further from the router the more power it will consume.
