QuestionAdd on IR Lighting? I saw in the QAs that someone did this. Where would I find add on IR lighting? Buy another security camera (different brand)?

- Answer I wouldn't worry about it. We put our up--right out of the box. It has perfect vision in pitch dark down a 18-20 foot hallway. Depending how far your field of vision is--I think that adding an IR light, beyond what is built in the camera, would be unnecessary.

- Answer It does work with Android. We have no problem with signal, but you do have to play with the sensitivity (which you set) to make sure you pick up the movement you want.

- Answer Yes, but this will potentially add more delay to the motion detection feature and decrease the transmit rate for high resolution causing it to frequently buffer. Plugging directly into your main router will be the best and most reliable option.

- Answer Just the computer you set up with the system would notify you! For example.... I have the Arlo app on my phone so I get all of my notifications on that! It comes very handy so I don't have to go fetch my laptop, log into it, access the system, etc etc! And anywhere I am as long as I have an Internet connection (Wifi or Cellular) I will get notified. If I set up the Arlo app on two phone. Botha would receive notifications! Although only one of those would be the primary one that lets you delete videos and stuff. Just as a safety protocol. The other one will let you do everything else except delete videos, basically.

- Answer I have not seen any slowness of speed. I am pretty consistent with what I was before implementing them. Maybe because they record straight to the cloud service. The only time you are "streaming" is when viewing live from the app or online.

- Answer If you follow the instructions in the quick start guide and user guide while also correctly installing the batteries, you should have no problem at all to get the cameras to work. Make sure you download the Arlo app software to a mobile device or your computer otherwise configuration could be quite challenging.

- Answer I believe yes you can use in Europe as well. The app can be downloaded from anywhere in the world, and cam is battery operated, connects via wifi, so you have to get only one European plug adapter to connect your US plug of Arlo base station.

- Answer No, not the basic 7days of storage, if you require it to save beyond 7 days-yes you'll need to sign up for Arlos premium rip off package.
