• A:Answer Hi Sally: I think it works with Optima, but i am not too sure. I would go to the manufacturers website, to see what they say about your unit. I have the SB-8200, and it defiantly works with Optima. You could also call Optima to find your answer. I hope this helps: Mitch

Q: QuestionIs it wireless and Bluetooth capability?

• A:Answer This SB modem is not wireless. The model letters indicate type pf device. SB (Surf Board)-means you get access to internet. SBG (Surg Board Gateway) means it is wireless capable. Bluetooth is device to device. Modems don't affect Bluetooth, BUT you need wireless for Bluetooth to communicate between the devices you are using. An example would be to play music from your phone to an external speaker. When the devices are both connected to the WiFi network, they will work.
