“I read a review on Amazon that said buyer beware - not all wifi routers work with modem- something having to do with channels. I am looking to buy a modem (telephony, xfinity) and router. Which wifi routers will work for sure? Any way to know?”

• You might want to consider using a Best Buy In-Home Advisor to select and purchase the correct modem/router.

• Hi Claire - this modem and all of the ARRIS SURFboard modems will work with any Wi-Fi router. Not sure what the reviewer was referring to but our modems are universally compatible with any stand-alone Wi-Fi router.
