I easily doubled my distance with this modem/router. I would say 125-150 feet with little obstruction, say two walls. I have a detached garage across a trail and have no trouble with wifi. The speed also increased without changing service levels from the provider. Very pleased with the unit and set up and interface were both user friendly.
