This Modem/Router has served me well but I found out today that it is out of date now and I need to upgrade it to 3.1. It operates on 3.0, it still works fine but I was told if my WiFi just stops working some day that's probably why. It's a great Modem/Router but operating on/through Midco it may not work for me someday.

Super easy setup! I was up and running in 20 mins without having to call Comcast. Speeds and reliability have been perfect thus far. My last Netgear modem/router (fried by lightening) was much more problematic at setup. Very pleased with this purchase

Extremely easy to setup. Configuration was simple. The only thing I disliked immensely was the fact it started installing a bundled antivirus program automatically without my permission. I already have a full internet protection and this was an inferior product. I almost returned the modem because of that. No one installs anything without my permission. I purchased a modem not antivirus software. Bad move Arris.

This modem is basically plug and play if you are techy. Better alternative than paying $10++a month to the cable companies

I elected to buy this instead of renting the modem offered by my local provider, and hooked it up within a few hours of setting up my service online. Didn’t need any help or further info, just connected smoothly, and has consistently provided me with the speed and reliability it promises. I have no complaints.

I wasn't in need of the absolute fastest model out there, but this combo has enough headroom that I should be good to go for the foreseeable future. Also, the WiFi works very well, even with the power set to the lowest setting. Covers all corners of the house and even outdoors.

Equipment leasing fees should be enough motivation for you to purchase your own modem/router, but Comcast has also started off-sourcing parental controls to their website instead of allowing those controls to take place through the router UI they provide you. I strongly suggest you get your own equipment and take control of your home network and I recommend this product based on experience so far and other recommendations that it is a good modem.

Worked as advertised right out of the box. Easy setup. No issues. Save that cable modem fee!

The quality of this device is great, the range is far and strong, it is kinda long up and sticks out but thats fine behind the Tv or such, and price isnt bad when i got it for 140 on sale so im happy, would recommend to anyone in the same price range

Needed to replace a similar product. Salesman in store recommended much expensive (more potent) product but success we don't use smart home products and don't plan to, this product is more than enough to handle our internet needs. Easy to setup and configure.

This is a great replacement for Spectrum's cable modem that you must rent from them. The combination router and modem is the way to go. Quick easy set up and fast wifi speeds. I use roku for my other tv's with no streaming issues. Highly recommended.

I got this modem/router after my other one stopped working. I instantly liked the speeds it connected at and it is really simple to set up. The only down side is that too many devices will bog down the channel. This is easily fixed by using both channels.

This was recommended by a friend who works in IT along with some double the price. I set it up myself in less than 5 minutes with my phone. Hasn’t dropped yet. Clearly I’m not internet device savvy but it’s been legit.

My wireless is a lot better since we upgraded to this model. I don't even need the range extender in the bedroom now, I get plenty of signal from just this one router.
