2016 is when this was made. I just bought this and stopped paying monthly fees, which in the end I will have paid more for fees then buying my own. It works just as good if not better then what the service provider rented me. It's worth it.

Are you happy with the WiFi coverage you have today? That would be my only limitation. On the Modem side - very solid.
