Try logging into your Xfinity account online from a cellphone and under your internet devices restart/reboot the router, that will send a signal from Xfinity's end of things without using the Xfinity mobile app. Another option, depending on how long your power tends to go out, perhaps invest in a small battery backup power supply called a UPS? Typically when the power goes out your internet will still work (because it's coming from the coax cable) so long as the modem and wifi router have power! A decent sized UPS is around $60-$70 and should last a day or so running a modem and router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since setting up the new Arris modem, we have experienced one power outage. I unplugged the modem, waited 10 minutes then plugged it back in. The modem went through the set up and came back online within 10 minutes. I also have Xfinity internet. So far, I have not had any other issues.
