No, this device is compatible to work only with Comcast Xfinity's services, it won't work with Cox's subscription
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I spoke with Arris technical support hoping it'd work with Mediacom when I purchased it, and the tech support agent stated that the phone service functionality of this modem will only work with Comcast. I ended up keeping this modem (way better than the cable company's modem), killing my cable phone and bought an Ooma (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ooma-telo-voip-home-phone-service-black/3404027.p?skuId=3404027). It's about $6/mon for taxes, otherwise it's free. You can also pay ~$40 to port your phone number over Ooma, so you won't lose your phone number. They say it could take a few weeks for the porting, but it happened within 48hrs for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device takes a Coax input and then outputs phone line as well as ethernet LAN.
