• Hi Isiah, To use this Wi-Fi router you would need to have an internet subscription along with a compatible modem. You can connect this router with your existing modem/gateway. Once you have everything in place and the network setup, you can use the Wi-Fi for as long as the setup is on.

• You have to pay for internet service. If you do not pay for internet service, it will essentially be a very expensive paper weight.
