Can this be used with the otter box defender case? null

Yes fits on screen fine with otter box..

If it's like any of the older notes none of the expensive glass screens was case friendly they popped off when the case got squeezed on the side from being in pocket or playing a game... wouldn't recommend any curved glass screens.
